Outfit + new hair

Black 'skaterdress' that I made myself. 

My hair is about 7 cm shorter than before. It didn't exactly turn out as the 'celebrity long bob', 
but I guess that's just my hair plus I don't have a fancy hairdresser or stylist.

Just watched A single man by Tom Ford. A short film about an English professor in the sixties (played by Colin Firth) who has  a hard time coping with his partner's sudden death.

Navy and colored straps

From now on, I won't post my sewing projects necessarily in a chronological order, just random!


This dress was inspired by a Alexa Chung photoshoot where she wore the dress below (unfortunately, I haven't been able to find the pictures yet). I really liked the straps on the back and since I'd never seen something like this in the stores I decided to make my own version. I'm happy with how it turned out.

Sewing project #1

One of my first sewing projects is this cute yellow dress. I made it in december 2008 and wore it to my first school gala. 
My inspiration comes from Gossip Girl. Remember the season 1 episode where Blair throws her annual soiree? Jenny wore this cute yellow dress (below). The original design is from Jasmine di Milo.
